C\u2019est le cas, par exemple, du fait que le syst\u00e8me doit \u00e9galement fonctionner en cas de situation d&rsquo;urgence, comme une panne de courant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les t\u00e9l\u00e9phones analogiques domestiques connect\u00e9s directement \u00e0 un commutateur local fonctionnent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement en cas de panne de courant, car le commutateur local utilise un syst\u00e8me UPS. Si le commutateur est sous-aliment\u00e9, des probl\u00e8mes tels que le red\u00e9marrage des p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques \/ du commutateur peuvent appara\u00eetre lorsque la consommation \u00e9lectrique est trop \u00e9lev\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Comment calculer la puissance n\u00e9cessaire ?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chaque p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique indique au switch la quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie qu&rsquo;il utilisera (minimum et maximum) en demandant une classe PoE sp\u00e9cifique. Dans le tableau suivant, toutes les classes sont abord\u00e9es (les p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques qui ne supportent pas une classe sp\u00e9cifique communiquent avec la classe 0) :<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-25875 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.wildix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/PoE-classes-1024x551.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"625\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.wildix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/PoE-classes-1024x551.png 1024w, https:\/\/blog.wildix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/PoE-classes-300x162.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.wildix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/PoE-classes-768x413.png 768w, https:\/\/blog.wildix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/PoE-classes-624x336.png 624w, https:\/\/blog.wildix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/PoE-classes.png 1252w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 625px) 100vw, 625px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En v\u00e9rifiant le nombre de p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques de chaque classe qui seront connect\u00e9s, et en multipliant par la limite de puissance maximale de la classe, nous pouvons <\/span><b>obtenir la puissance maximale support\u00e9e <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">par le switch PoE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le\u00a0 \u00abPoE Budget\u00bb repr\u00e9sente la puissance maximale que le commutateur peut supporter. Lorsque vous s\u00e9lectionnez un commutateur PoE, la somme calcul\u00e9e ci-dessus doit \u00eatre <strong>inf\u00e9rieure au budget PoE.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bien entendu, l&rsquo;utilisation de p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques PoE consommant moins d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie peut contribuer \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la consommation \u00e9lectrique globale du syst\u00e8me.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>L\u2019Ethernet vert<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les normes r\u00e9centes r\u00e9duisent encore davantage l\u2019\u00e9nergie n\u00e9cessaire, par port, en mettant en \u0153uvre un ensemble d\u2019\u00e9conomies normalis\u00e9 dans <\/span><b>IEEE 802.3az.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il n&rsquo;y a pas si longtemps, tous les contr\u00f4leurs d&rsquo;interface r\u00e9seau aux \u00c9tats-Unis (ordinateurs, commutateurs et routeurs) utilisaient environ 5,3 t\u00e9rawattheures d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Selon un chercheur du laboratoire Lawrence Berkeley, l\u2019Ethernet \u00e9conome en \u00e9nergie doit permettre d&rsquo;\u00e9conomiser environ 450 millions de dollars par an en co\u00fbts d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie aux \u00c9tats-Unis, notamment gr\u00e2ce aux \u00e9conomies r\u00e9alis\u00e9es dans les habitations (200 millions de dollars) et les bureaux (170 millions de dollars). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La <\/span><b>r\u00e9duction de puissance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e de plusieurs mani\u00e8res. Dans <\/span><b>les liaisons de donn\u00e9es \u00e0 vitesse de 100 Mbit \/ s, 1 gigabit et 10 Gbit \/ s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, l\u2019\u00e9nergie est utilis\u00e9e pour maintenir les \u00e9metteurs de la couche physique allum\u00e9s en permanence. S&rsquo;ils pouvaient \u00eatre mis en mode \u00ab\u00a0veille\u00a0\u00bb lorsqu&rsquo;aucune donn\u00e9e n&rsquo;est envoy\u00e9e, cette \u00e9nergie pourrait \u00eatre \u00e9conomis\u00e9e. Lorsque le logiciel de l&rsquo;appareil d\u00e9cide de ne pas envoyer de donn\u00e9es, il peut envoyer <\/span><b>une demande d&rsquo;inactivit\u00e9 r\u00e9duite<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (LPI) \u00e0 la couche physique PHY du contr\u00f4leur Ethernet. La PHY enverra ensuite les symboles LPI durant une p\u00e9riode d\u00e9finie sur la liaison, puis d\u00e9sactivera son \u00e9metteur. <\/span><b>Les signaux de rafra\u00eechissement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sont envoy\u00e9s p\u00e9riodiquement pour maintenir l&rsquo;int\u00e9grit\u00e9 de la signalisation de liaison. Lorsqu&rsquo;il y a des donn\u00e9es \u00e0 transmettre, un signal <\/span><b>IDLE normal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> est envoy\u00e9 pendant une p\u00e9riode de temps pr\u00e9d\u00e9termin\u00e9e. La liaison de donn\u00e9es est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme toujours op\u00e9rationnelle car le circuit de r\u00e9ception reste actif m\u00eame lorsque <\/span><b>le chemin de transmission <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">est en mode veille.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>L\u2019Ethernet vert<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> r\u00e9duit davantage <\/span><b>la consommation \u00e9lectrique<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en d\u00e9sactivant compl\u00e8tement la liaison si le p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique connect\u00e9 est \u00e9teint. Bien entendu, cette fonctionnalit\u00e9 ne s&rsquo;applique pas aux appareils t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques, car ils doivent toujours \u00eatre allum\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019autre am\u00e9lioration introduite par l\u2019Ethernet vert consiste \u00e0 <\/span><b>r\u00e9duire la puissance de transmission lorsque le c\u00e2ble est plus court<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
