The family is growing and it is a fantastic experience.
My second-born recently came into the world and the days following the happy event have been very high-paced and not easy to manage: the little one to look after, my wife in the hospital and work, with all its deadlines and pending matters.
I was still able to fully enjoy the wonderful emotions of the event, regardless of the fact that it is sudden and not easy to plan, without any apprehension because of work, thanks to our technology and to its flexibility.
The reason is simple:
we can work anywhere there is a Wi-Fi connection, so in the morning I could serenely take the little one to kindergarten, take care of a few errands, return home, connect to the company Collaboration system, since it is the cloud service.
Then during these past few days between the hospital, pharmacies, kindergarten, bureaucracy and various errands, I was absent quite a bit, but is this a problem? Absolutely not. First of all, I can easily work from home and then, if I must go out, I simply launch the smartphone Collaboration App, then I change my status into DND and I update it with a brief description, with a click I activate voicemail and I transfer calls to a colleague of mine, and Voilà!
Just think if I had to hastily drop off my daughter at kindergarten, race to the office to clock-in my time card to then, in the early afternoon, leave work so as to arrive in time to pick up the little one and, let’s admit it, I am sure that as in my case the same holds true for most others as well, the office is not really right around the corner.

If I had not had the opportunity to work from home, both of us would have lost: me, with time, stress and concentration, and the company, which certainly could not benefit from having an employee who is already exhausted early in the morning.
Obviously all of this is possible thanks to Wildix, who has understood that the static stereotypes of the office no longer exist.
It is now more than a year that I have been working at Wildix, and when I explain to friends and acquaintances about what we work on and the opportunities we offer, the first comment is always the same: “Wow, that is so awesome!!! this is the future!!!”
Well yes, Wildix produces and develops the future in communications which, as in my case, simplifies life for people and shortens and facilitates company processes.
