Wildix Outlook Calendar Sync Beta

Have you even been called while on a meeting by a colleague just to whisper (while everybody looks at you): “I will call you later”?

Have you even been called or in the middle of your vacation just to say: “I am not in office, call me back next week”?

Imagine now a system to inform automatically your colleagues that you are not available, on holiday, out of office. A system that automatically send the calls to voicemail or forward them to another number after informing of your status depending on your calendar status.

Assign Wildix phones to users

Let’s see in detail the different ways to assign Wildix phones.

(1) Assign Wildix phones via WMS

supported by WP4X0 phones and W01FXS media gateway

Instructions for the sysadmin:

WMS > Devices
select a provisioned device
click “Assign to user”
select the user from the list
“Save”

Easy, no? In this way sysadmin can quickly assign even remote phones. However you cannot use this mode to log in W-AIR and WP600A series. So there exists another way to do it, supported by WP4X0 and W-AIR handsets:

Evolution of remote connection to the PBX

easily remember how to connect to your PBX from remote places

access PBXs which do not have a static Public IP

Wildix is the only vendor to offer these features, fully integrated into the system.
It is possible to set up the PBX domain name via WMP (Wildix Management Portal).
